Activities
Social: Every semester we host many Crush and Date Parties at various premiere clubs and classy venues around Atlanta, as well as hold Mixers with other Fraternities and Sororities. These events usually have a theme, and are always a great time to hang out with your Sisters, friends both Greek and nonGreek, and to meet other people. Occasionally we like to have a recreational Date Party, such as playing laser tag.
In addition to our amazing parties, every Fall Semester we have a Semi- Formal, and every Spring Semester we have a Formal. These take place at beautiful banquet halls, or luxurious hotels around Atlanta, as well as in neighboring areas, such as Roswell or Stone Mountain. Everyone always looks forward to these events and fun of dressing up and enjoying a night on the town with their Sisters and dates.
Sisterhood Events and Retreats: Every semester our Sisterhood Chair organizes a Sisterhood Retreat, which usually consists of fun activities, dinner, and lots of bonding time. These Retreats provide an opportunity to relax and enjoy the merits of Sisterhood and to get to know and appreciate our Sisters more. In addition to Retreats, throughout the Semester we organize many mini-Sisterhood events and activities, such as Movie Nights, Study Breaks, Spa and Makeover Nights, just to name a few, plus various Chapter dinners and outings. Spending time with Sisters doesn't just stop with organized events though, and some of the best memories come out of the most random and ordinary of times. Being in a Sorority, especially being in Sigma Delta Tau, is all about Sisterhood and the time and memories we share, and knowing that someone is, and always will be there.
Organizations Outside of Greek Life: We pride ourselves on the involvement of our Sisters in various Student Organizations, Clubs, and Sports outside of Greek Life. Whether an Athlete, Honor Society member, Campus Tour Guide, Scientific Researcher, member of Residence Life, Writer for a campus publication, Activist, committed Volunteer, or Pre-Vet Club member our Sisters' interests range far and wide and positively contribute to the overall well-being of our Chapter.
Intramurals: Three years ago we formed an IM Softball team, competing against other Sororities and Student Clubs on campus, and three years later we stand undefeated as Three-time IM Softball Champions! We also participate in IM Soccer and IM Flag Football. Check our Announcements page for game dates and locations and come out to support us!
